Ok im thinking about buying Guild Wars: Factions off the "official site" but im not sure if they just give me a link to download it? or send me the actual game...

hopeing to find out asap, thanks for your help if you respond.

buy it from the ingame store, you get exactly what you get from the main site... An activation code and thats it...

however, if you buy through the ingame store, it automatically adds the code to your account, so no messin' around

They will give you a "key code" then you DLoad the client and all the files needed.

You'll be given a Factions access key, which you can choose to add to your current account or use as a standalone. There is no physical product involved.

just remember, if you have an account already, to add the key you get to your account and DON'T MAKE A NEW ACCOUNT

The billing address is usually used as an extra layer of payment security to make sure that you're not trying to use a stolen credit card or something

Another quick note, when buying from the website, the $50 goes to ANET instead of the store getting a cut of the $50. The more money ANET has the better stuff we get back through the game.
